The American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS) was established January 26, 1927. Our history began during an AOA conference in Louisville, KY, when a small group of surgeons opted to share a mission to set high education standards and provide continuing medical education to osteopathic surgeons. Today, these beliefs continue to be our driving force.
