Learning Objectives:

  1. Be able to identify which patients with chronic iliofemoral DVT should be offered an attempt at recanalization
  2. Be able to select which patients may benefit more from ClotTriever versus Penumbra Lightening mechanical thrombectomy versus primary recanalization with stenting
  3. Be aware of the recommended technique/approach for use of ClotTriever catheter and Penumbra lightening catheter
  4. Be comfortable with the technique for primary recanalization and stenting of inferior vena cava/iliac veins for chronic Iliocaval DVT
  5. Consider role of Angiojet Xalente catheter/thrombolysis in patients with iliocaval DVT
