Dr. X.Sean Xin is an AOBS board-certified neurosurgeon, and surgical neuro-oncologist. He has a BS in biochemistry and molecular biology from Penn State University Schreyer Honors College and graduated from Western University of Health Science in 2011 with Doctor of Osteopathy. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Philadelphia college of osteopathic medicine and was awarded resident of the year in 2017. In 2018, Dr.Xin completed a fellowship in surgical neuro-oncology at City of Hope National Medical Center. His has expertise in complex brain tumor surgery and spinal oncology, and has clinical interest in minimally invasive brain and spine surgery and research interest in functional neuroanatomy. He serves as the Oncology section chief of American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS) neurosurgery education committee. He also is member of Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO), as well as associate member of American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR).
