Awarded "Remarkable Woman of Central Ohio" in 2022 for Community service. I have started "The Breast cancer Podcast" as a tool to educate the community. I was also awarded "Honorary Doctorate" in 2018 by my ALMA mater at KCUMB and also have given a commencement speech at the medical school. I have a strong presence on social media. I have been awarded "Hero of HOPE" award by ACS. I was asked to be on the Today show by HODA in 2017.
My passions include taking care of patients, teaching and serving the community.
I have published several research studies, started inperson "Finding your new normal lecture series in 2016 and virtual "OhioHealth cancer prevention and wellness lecture" series for the patients since COVID in 2021.
Hobbies- cooking, excercise, reading, spending time with family and friends
