David W. Vanhooser, MD, FACS, Cardiovascular Surgery Department Chief, Integris Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City. Dr Vanhooser graduated from the Oklahoma University College of Medicine in 1982. He completed his Cardiovascular Surgery fellowship at The Sanger Clinic in Charlotte NC, in 1989. He is currently in private practice in Oklahoma City with Integris Baptist Medical Center and the Nazhi Zuhdi Tranplantation Institute. His practice includes complex cardiac surgery, Heart and Lung Transplantation, mechanical circulatory support, structural heart procedures, endovascular surgery and thoracic surgery. His outside interests include boating weekends at their lake home and travel with his wife and two Shih Tzu in the RV.
