David Mann, D.O., M.S. is a PGY-3 General Surgery resident at the Medical University of South Carolina and currently serves on the ACOS Resident Section Governing Council as the Chair of Academic Advancement and Engagement. He is currently out on dedicated research time on a NIH-funded T32 Cardiovascular Research grant. His research primarily focuses on tension-induced inflammation signaling in thoracic aortic aneurysms. His other research interests include surgical education, and thoracic oncology outcomes.
