Dr. Lane is the current President of the Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She is a fellow of both the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Lane is the Director of Bariatric surgery at Sparrow Hospital in East Lansing MI, adjunct faculty at Michigan State University and served as the Department Chair of Surgery during the Pandemic from 2018-2022. She a member of PWE - Physician women equestrians- and ranked 13th in her division at dressage nationals in 2021.
