Herbert Oye, DO, FACOS, is a Board Certified Endovascular and Vascular Surgeon, specializing in invasive and non-invasive treatment of vascular diseases.
Dr. Oye received his medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. His General Surgery residence was performed at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, an affiliate of Albert Einstein Medical Center.
Dr. Oye completed his fellowship training in advanced vascular and endovascular surgery at the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix, Arizona in 1997.
Has had active clinical endovascular practice for over 24 years and is committed to expanding endovascular technology in rural communities globally.
He is the Chief of Surgery at Raleigh General Hospital in. Beckley, West Virginia. He is an Endovascular & Vascular Consultant for Beckley Appalachian Hospital in West Virginia and the Duchess International Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. and the Bayelsa Specialist Hospital in Yenagoa, Nigeria. He is the immediate past President of the Edward B. Diethrich Vascular Surgical Society and the President of the Africa’s chapter of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists. He is the program director of the yearly Endovascular Solutions Conference for Africa.
Dr. Oye is married and has 5 children. 4 of his 5 children are Osteopathic Physicians.
